How far are you located from the Vatican?

Our House is about 500 m far from The Vatican. You can reach St. Peter’s Basilica in 15 minutes walking. Near our convent (1 minute walking) there is also a bus stop and n.34 bus can take you down to the Vatican and from the Vatican to our house. N.34 bus runs every 20-25 minutes. In our house you can get your free copy of 34 bus schedule.

Do you close your convent during the night?

Yes, our house is closed from 11:00 PM to 6:30 Am. During the night it is not possible to enter or exit, so we ask you to consider this condition before making a reservation. Please, check carefully your flights or train schedules.

What are your rooms like?

We have single, double and triple rooms. All the rooms have single beds, there are no double beds. Each room has its own bathroom (WC, shower) and AIR CONDITIONING. Most of the rooms have a terrace and some of them have view on St. Peter’s Basilica.
In some rooms the beds can be joined. For children younger than 2 years old we can put a cot in the room. The children who are more than 2 years old need their own bed.

Is it possible to have dinner or supper in your house?

We offer only the breakfast which is included in the price. Close to us (5-7 min. walking distance) there are restaurants and pizzerias.

What do you serve for breakfast?

We serve coffee, tea, fruit juices, water, bread, croissants, butter, jam, honey, cheese, ham, cereals, fruits.

Is it possible to use internet in your house?

There is wireless internet (Wi-Fi) in our house, so if you have your computer with you, you can connect it to this net.

Are you well connected with public transport?

Yes, only 5 minutes from our place there is San Pietro railway station (attention: this is not a metro station!). In front of the station there is a bus stop of n.64 line which crosses all of central Rome and goes directly to Roma Termini (the main railway station in Rome). N. 64 bus runs every 5-7 minutes. At only 1 minute from us there is n.34 bus stop which goes to the Vatican and Castel Sant’Angelo (Piazza Cavour). In Via Gregorio VII street, at 5 minutes from us there is a bus stop of the lines 916, 46 (piazza Venezia) and 98, 881 (Saint Angel’s Castle).

When I will be in Rome, I want to go to Papal audience. What should I do?

The best way is to write a fax directly to the Prefecture of the Papal Household and ask for tickets: fax +39.06.69885863 http://www.vatican.va/various/prefettura/index_en.html When in Rome, you can go to get your tickets to the Bronze Door in the Vatican. Exceptionally, we can also ask the tickets for you, but we must be notified in advance.
